Teresa Coates is a Boston-based photographer who approaches fine art portraiture by exploring humanity, using a visual narrative. Her subject matter ranges from rural farm children to rodeo bulls. Her fine art work is consistent with traditional black and white and color photography, using a documentary style.
Teresa has exhibited her work at the Fitchburg Art Museum , the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Stephen F. Austin University, and the Catamount Arts. She is a recipient of the Stephen Jareckie Photography Award Fitchburg Art Museum.
